My last quilt for Project Quilting Season 5.  A quick paper pieced project (OK so the paper piecing wasn't so quick and there should have been 4 blocks instead of 2 but whatever).

The challenge was triangles.

This is paper pieced in quilting cotton.  It is hand quilted.  The binding is machine stitched and finished by hand.  It is about 12 x 16 inches.

You can read the story of this quilt (along with a bit of my whining) and see all my PQ entries on my blog. http://twasbrilligand.blogspot.com/2014/03/pq-56-triangles-flying-geese-at-sunset.html

Lovely....I like how the fabric looks like the sea in the sunset...I wouldn't have thought of using it this way.

I see kites! I see a whole team of kites! What a beautiful setting you've given them.

I love the flying geese theme, it remind me of home when all the geese are flocking to the lakes and their chatty morning fleights over my parents house to get there.
