I had a little mishap tonight/ this afternoon.  I mis measured & cut 1 piece too small. I didn't find my error until I almost had the 3 pieces together. I better not make anyone worry too much. I found a solution - patchwork pockets  Smiley Hope Rscowtwon likes how I fixed it. Good thing I was using 3 sister prints.

Not a mistake, a design element, BrandyK! I bet it looks better that way.

I joke that it's not a sewing project unless I have to take it completely apart once. Wink

I received the most glorious package today from Annchen. We had arranged a personal swap along with her claim on OPS, so she sent 10 handmade dishclothes & a store bought one (because it is very pretty too). I can not rave about these enough. I love the colors & the variety that she made. She even sent a lovely note explaining about the different types. Thanks so much Annchen!

I love them so much that I might never use them as dishclothes. Maybe I should hang them up in my kitchen on a "clothesline" as art.

Hurrah! April is over! Now on to life in May, which will not include the OPS organized by me. Like I said earlier, I'm planning on taking another 2 month hiatus. I will be starting a thread in the New Swap Theme Ideas board probably mid-June so we can gear up for it again in July. So... Just keep working on your current claims. Everyone got claimed and made claims this month so I'm a happy organizer.

RSCowtown offered up a prize for the April round. And the winner is... SYLVAN! I'll get together with Cowtown about it. Congrats!

Yesterday I stayed up a little too late painting, but it was worth it. I hope to start glueing and maybe paint some more tonight.
