I am making my own invites for my wedding. I am using brown packaging paper from walmart and cardstock paper from another source. I need to glue the packaging paper and the cardstock together, what would be the best glue for this? I am also using the packaging paper to make envelopes for the invites, will need to know what would be the best glue for this too. I would just use staples for the invites but I heard you can not mail it with staples?

I have been using a tape runner for envelopes and cards - you can find single use ones at craft stores, scrapbooking stores, or even the dollar store, and they seem to hold up well - I have sent several through the mail and they seemed to be just fine.  I have a large refillable one since I do a lot of crafting and gluing

This is the one I have

This is a smaller one that can also be refilled - and there are other companies that make various styles as well

Again, I have also used ones from the dollar store, and since you don't need them to be archival in quality, that should be fine too.
