As I am new I was wondering do I have to post  15 times ( in order to start swaps) in just this swapping community or can it be anywhere on the craftster site?

My understanding is anywhere on the craftster site.
Also, the posts can just be comments...but its awesome to start topics with your finished projects too. That way your swap partner can get to know you even better.  Wink

When I first started out I looked up craftster projects I liked and commented on those. I figured it might help my future swap partners to figure out what I like. (Yeah, I totally joined craftster for the swaps) In the process I found the knitting board and learned lots of new things by oogling the finished projects, tutorials and reading other people's questions.

Back then there was no pinterest so post-stalking was part of the process in getting to know a partner... Heh...

Another way to get in the swing of things is to maybe play along in a craft a long, like the spring nerd battles. That's how I'm killing time til 15 April when my one month as a newbie clocks over and I too can start swapping!

Post as much as you can! Post thoughtful comments on projects you like, ask questions, and most helpful of all: post some pictures of your own projects so future organizers can get an idea of your style!
