I made this Axolotl or newt for "gotgrey" In the "Huge, Giant & Enormous Swap"  I couldn't find a pattern unless I bought one & I didn't want to do that when I can make my own, so that's what I did. It took me awhile but I got it done & then cut it out & sewed it & a lot of hand sewing!  I don't think I ever made such a big thing in all life HA!! It was fun making it though. I made the mouth so it was a pocket & the tongue was one too & it came off with velcro. I put on the zipper pull her initial. OK here are the pics:

I had a lot of fun making her & my partner really like her! Thanks for looking!

This is so cool. Just out of curiosity, how much stuffing is inside it?

I actually didn't measure it but when I held it vertical to me, it's close to my height & that's around 6 ft.
Yes postage was a little much, but my partner "gotgrey" made such amazing portraits of our dogs & she has done a lot of things for me personally, that it didn't matter how much it was & my husband loves those portraits too & he was great about it!

Aww, you're making me blush Sharalee!    Grin  Yes, I am the proud owner of this lovely axolotl!  She is fabulous to snuggle up with and cuddle!  She makes my stomach feel better when it's hurting.  Sharalee did a fantabulous job!!!!!!!!

That is tremendous! I used to have an axolotl in my classroom - his name was Pink Floyd. This one is too cute. Great job, Sharalee!
