Okay - so first I need to pay my respect to My_RubySlippers for her *awesome* tutorial on how to make these mini books for jewelry!  Here is the link to her fabuloso tutorial:


So - thanks SOOOO much, MRS!

I decided to make some mini book jewelry for teacher gifts this year (getting on the ball sooner rather than later this time!), and here is one set.  This teacher said that she likes classic fairy tales, so I made a bunch of fairy tale mini books and a necklace on which she can change out the book according to mood:

The necklace with one of the books (Thumbelina):

And under the cotton are the other books:

And the clasp I attached so that she can switch out the books:

I am very excited!  I have some earrings made of "The BFG" and will be making earrings and necklaces of several other books!  Very exciting and not too terribly hard (though a bit finicky)!
