Kookaloo, keep those brains in place! No more head banging! Unless you're dancing.

Finished one of my projects but am having stitching problems with the second project. It keeps wanting to ruffle on something that needs to stay flat. Very frustrating!

I have my medium half done, and will be chugging away on the rest of the items tonight.

I didn't keep the tracking number for dustyfro's package, but I'm guessing it should have gotten to her by now.  It was sent in a padded envelope and I know those travel quicker than a box.  I hope she has received it.  Undecided

If you haven't fixed your ruffle problem yet, you could try running your project with a piece of paper underneath it. It should help prevent the ruffle but it will dull the needle sooner  Undecided

I thought about using paper, but I don't think it would help because of the type of fabric I'm using. Removing the paper would be likely to damage the delicate fabric. A wash-away or iron-away stabilizer will probably be the best bet, but I was too frustrated last night to track them down in my supplies.

I'm 75% done with one, 50% done on something else and I've got several ideas floating around for the third. I've got to kick it into high gear, but I'm confident.

Hey, was it supposed to make a dent? Heck!  hurry, hurry... I must make another 20 items to do that Grin especially since I have been randomly buying fabric again Shocked (don't worry I am resolutely not using it for this swap Tongue. I was going to cover a clothesrail but I now have inherited my Great-grandfather's oak wardrobe so I won't need to)

I bought fabric this week too but most definitely not for this swap  Smiley I decided to give quilting a try so I was out & about the charity shops looking for stuff to cut up to the sew back together to make something else *lol* My son asked what was the point in cutting fabric into tiny pieces just to sew it all back together  Roll Eyes I got some bargains though, lime green curtains & and orange/yellow/lime duvet cover with different pattern on each side.Need to get my swappsies finished first though  Wink
