I got my boyfriend into cross stitching and he really enjoys it. He wants a sort of project bag but the only ones we've found are old lady floral or really girly. Anyone know where I can get project bags, needle holders, and anything else that's not super girly?

There are some awesome needle minders that aren't super girly.  A lot of what I am finding out there are totebags that people have cross stitched themselves. What about a messenger bag?

He wants something smaller than a messanger bag with pockets for floss and scissors and stuff. Someone needs to create a crafting accessory line for men.

Perhaps you could get him a plain and sizeable denim bag or satchel, find him something 'manly' to stitch and then sew the finished design on to it (helping him if he needs it  Wink ).

StitchKits have a nice 'Real Men Cross Stitch' pattern, or if that's too obvious than any pattern based on something he likes would be interesting. Otherwise a simple leather bag may suffice.

I wonder if you could somehow use a jewelry accessory bag. See if you could find one that is just a plain color.

Have you tried etsy?  when I did a quick search I saw some comic book style ones, and some skulls and some fantasy ones.
You could also always join the wish swap or gift swap and add it to your list  Wink

I think you go for stitching kit having multiple holes to keep you sewing stuff safe.
