Hello all! This is my first venture into sewn toys, and boy was it a challenge! I made this for a personal swap I did with jexxican, who in turn sent me some very lovely yarn. The pattern was created by me, which probably was half the project honestly. But when you can't find anything like what you want online you have to make do, right? Smiley Onto the pictures!

It ends up about 11" tall, and I think 12" at it's widest. It can stand by itself.

All the pieces come apart. It has no velcro or magnets or anything to keep it together.

Aaaand one with the zebra I also made for the swap cause I'm all proud of it Smiley

It didn't turn out quite like I expected (do they ever?), but I learned so much! Comments and (constructive) Criticism are appreciated. Smiley

The kids all love it so whatever mistakes there are aren't important, right? Our niece even took it to help remember the order of the colors in the rainbow for her colored bean project that she made. So it's totally a learning toy as well as a loving toy. Score! It was super loved at the party, as well as the zebra. Oh my word, the zebra was everyone's favorite present.

Yay! I was hoping it would be a learning toy :3 I'm big on the learning. That zebra is pretty darn cute! I'm thinking I may have to make a couple more for people, it was a big hit when I posted it to my fb.

This is so cute - I think it turned out wonderfully, even if not quite how you had imagined it. Smiley

I love it, I would have never thought to make squishy stacking toys, what a wonderful idea.

I love it!  What a wonderful toy!  The zebra is just too cute for words!  If you made a pattern for the rainbow, I sure would love it.  I would like to make one for my niece.  She will be turning 1yr old in less than a month.
