My buddy jemimah posted a scarf she made using this pattern:

http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/favorite-scarf-ever

I thought it was a great way to use up those pesky little bits of sock yarn left over from last year's sock knitting binge!  I used two solids and one variegated balls.  I just knit randomly until I ran out of the solids...I still have a small bit of the variegated yarn, so I am going to use a different color scheme...more purples next time...so much fun!

I love this pattern!  The scarf is lighweight, can be made longer, wider, etc. The only part I hated was weaving in all the ends from the color changes, but it was worth it!

Very pretty scarf.  I like the pattern and I am amazed that leftover yarn from socks of different colours should go so well together.  I love the shading of the solids with the variegated.

lol Thanks! You have me addicted to making this pattern!  It is lightweight and quite simple...I cheated and did not do two halves...I am quite good at Kitchner stitching but I am lazy! Grin  I figured that it is going to be wrapped around and no one will notice...

This scarf is headed to my friend HSG's house!  I can't keep every scarf I make! Grin
