It's still Friday here! Look what I made a few weeks ago:

2oz Llama, ~85 yards

8oz Merino Pop! Rocks. I know I made some of this last summer but AmberKat sent me a message saying she wanted it but more so I gladly spun up this stuff. I think it may be a bit thinner than the first round but hey, I'm no Master Spinner. I sent it to her over 2 weeks ago and on it's way to WA from NM it ended up going through Dallas, TX somehow. Whatever. She should have it soon! I want to say it's 230 yards but I don't remember everything correctly.
She sent me some rainbow items (zebra, stacking toy) for my 2 year old in return and holy cow they were amazing. Totally made the party this weekend.

Wonderful Jexx!! That llama llooks llovelly.  (haha.... I can't help it...)  and it's alsway good to have  a go to yarn, one you can recreate pretty easily!

Did I show this one yet? IT's one of two yarns I spun for Module 3 of The Journey to the Golden Fleece.

This is the second one:

and this is a fun mash up of the two.  They both represent the same picture (we were given a choice of images to choose from)

We're still dreaming of spring here, even though it's technically spring already, so I put some pulled sari silk into a vase, like they were flowers.  I thought you guys might get a smile out of them

and, I made some beaded oriface hooks, and since they are technically fibre related I'm posting them here!

Bella, thsoe are so much! I like the chopped up picture you put together. And what a lovely way to use fiber to feel better about the weather. It's already getting up into the 80sF here so it's still nice to see snow in other's yards for me.

Bunny, why haven't I sent you a learn to spin kit yet?

I had to check out where you were, Dreadlocklove!  Check out www.oldscollege.ca/fibreweek for more info on the Master spinners course.  they do sometimes offer classes  out there..
But these yarns are for the Journey to the Golden Fleece Fiber Creativity course offered by Wool Wench, and Spin Artiste oops, Not aspen Artiste... Arlene... I'm not sure if she has a handle!. You can check that out at www.fiberygoodness. com

Jesssssss!!! The yarn is beautiful and I love it! I can't wait to use it! Is llama pretty soft? I'm so glad the items I sent were such a bit hit!
Belladune, your golden fleece yarns look sumptuous!
You know bunny1kenobi, jexxican's learn to spin kit is the reason I got into spinning in the first place a couple of years ago. Careful, she's a craft addiction enabler Wink

Of course I'm an enabler. I enable people to do everything I do so I can actually have someone to talk stuff about. Like reading! I keep trying to get people to read certain series' so I can discuss them but nobody will. Alas, I must stick to craft enabling.

The llama is actually a little more course than I was expecting. It was soft enough when I was spinning it, decently soft at least, but I guess the way I spun it made it more rope like.
