It is pretty, but wouldn't it "clack" ?  Not sure if I would like the sound of glass beads hitting each other...

I got more beads to make a few more spirals...just need to figure out where to hang them first...also, a hummingbird tried to attack the one I made, so I am going to avoid making a red one...

I have a door curtain made of mixed beads (glass, plastic, wood, metal, etc.) and it does make noise. I don't know if I'd call it a "clack," lol, but it certainly isn't quiet.

oh love wind chimes of all sorts!  I was more worried about the glass cracking...we have really high winds here...some of my birdhouses have ended up down the hill into the creek...we would be fine neighbors...we would hang out and make fabric pages and prayer flags and practice yoga in the meadow... Grin

My sister left a bunch of stuff at my house and in it is a toolbox full of beads. I may need to either invest in some memory wire or make a "bead soup" as a personal swap for a fell ow C-ster.

May I join in this Pinterest fun? I tend to delete pins after I make them so I think I will just be sharing the site they linked to. Does that work? Right now I am working on making some of these crock pot lotion bars, but using a double boiler instead of a crock pot (because really, who has a 4 cup crock pot?). I was also trying to shred or shave the beeswax so maybe it would melt faster but I just ended up with a bunch of waxy kitchen tools. :/ Also, the chick on that link must be Miss Informed because the Shea Butter tub she has says 4 oz but it's about the same size as the quart of coconut oil. Crazy! Maybe I'm just seeing it wrong but I really am worried about everything that site says now that I'm posting this. Crap! I spent all this money on these things. It better work out right.
