I tried another bracelet pin: http://www.pinterest.com/pin/272045633711725980

I can't say I love it as a bracelet, at least not the slide-closure adjustable sort of bracelet, but this weave would make for an excellent strap or, say, the edge of a beaded costume top?  If I use it again it probably won't be as a bracelet.

There's a definite difference between "simple" and "easy"...

This cute doll pin is simple - all you need is a bead, pipe cleaners, embroidery floss, yarn, and felt. The instructions are few and straightforward.  But making it look as good as the one on the pin? Not that easy.  The pin:

The result:

Not horrible, the hardest part was figuring out how to do the face - I thought Sharpie, but that bleed terribly.  I ended up just using a regular ballpoint pen.  I learned a lot, and I'm sure the next well be better, and easier!

lindy- all the bags looked great but my fav was definitely the owl and chevron

abbee- great rendition on the prayer flag, love the necklace also as well, especially the little shell inside it

smeddley- those green beads are lovely, and the face on your little doll was perfect and her little stripy socks are adorable

that1girl- all the flowers are lovely but my fav has to be the third ones
