Oooo...did you make the accompanying cinnamon butter, lindy? That's the best part.

I am actually not too fond of the cinnamon butter on the rolls so I didn't make.  I do have a recipe for it though and want to try it on cinnamon toast.

They were good and are a good recipe for those who aren't master bread makers.  Having a Kitchenaid mixer really helps too cause there is no real kneading Wink

Simple beading pin: http://www.pinterest.com/pin/272045633711607148/

I've seen it done before, usually with more rustic beads and hemp twine... But I have an allergy to hemp and decided, since I had some sparkly beads, to try to use a sparkly yarn.  I cut apart my first effort without even taking a picture, since the way this tutorial shows doing the closure (directly next to the end of the beading) only allows for one of the tails to move/tighten.  And I doubled the yarn over that I tying, but it's still too thin to really see the knots.

So then I changed to a rounder cord, something more like the hemp people usually use.  It's better in some respects, but I'll be honest, even though they're more time-consuming and not as adjustable, I still prefer the wrap bracelets.

Overall, not a fail, and I've seen ones done in this style that are fabulous, but it definitely takes the right kind of cord and beads.

I was inspired by this pin from pottermouth's boards: http://www.pinterest.com/pin/131659989081057725/

To make her a leprechaun for the IYP swap:
