My new nephew chillin' in his new Mom hat.  This has got to be the easiest thing I have ever made.  I was going to buy a pattern but then thought I could easily make it.  I was right! I chose a plain old regular beanie pattern(forgot which one it was but trust me use your fav).  I single crocheted a white banner and stitched Mom on that; crocheted a heart; stitched the heart to the hat then the banner onto to the hat and it was done.  I swear less than an hour for this project.  Easy, peasy, lemon squeezy.

very cute! I recently made one like this for a friend but instead of stitching the lettering I used black puff paint so I could do a cool tattoo style font.
