This is my first Mother Bear.  The Mother Bear Project is dedicated to providing comfort and hope to children affected by HIV/AIDS in emerging nations, by giving them a gift of love in the form of a hand-knit or crocheted bear.  I plan to create many more.  All bears are made from the same knit or crochet patterns; these are available on the site.  Do note that these are pay patterns, with funds going towards the charity.

Kiss thanks I Sew Cute & devilduck.

I have seen this project before and have thought about participating.
I truly loved making this bear and can't wait to have more free-time to make more.  Plus, they do a great job taking pictures of the bears with the children, once they are delivered.
