Ok, I've started working at a bar on the weekend and I wanted to jazz-up my old jeans a little bit. I added lace and studs, but I think it looks a little strange still. What do you think?

Sorry for the crappy pic, it's hard to take pictures of your own butt  Cheesy

I wonder if it would look better if I did silver or gunmetal studs instead. I had gold ones already so that was basically the reasoning. I also am considering holes/distressing but I'm nervous that I will ruin them so I'm not sure where to place.

All ideas appreciated!!

Silver would certainly be better. Please, no holes, it's such a beautiful jeans. Well done!

I like them! And since you are working to service a bunch of drunks...they will only be looking at your butt...not the jeans.  Grin I have bartended before, too. I don't think I would add holes to them. Let that happen naturally with age. I don't mind the gold. Just match that to your jewelry. My two cents worth  Roll Eyes

NEW REQUEST: Need quilting fabric with ONLY purple, grey, green. Solids or Prints in any combination/shades, but NO OTHER COLORS ALLOWED. HELP! They are hard to find.

I personally prefer silver over gold, so if they were my pants, I would change it to silver. That being said I think they look just fine with gold. And I agree with everyone else. Don't add holes, your pants look great!

I think the gold is fine. If you want to add some distressing, I suggest just above the knee and asymmetrical.
My daughter recently got some jeans with distressing on them. They have gold glitter glue? or something on them, but that would tie in the gold on the pockets.

Here's a picture I found on the internet as an example.

At first I was a bit at odds with the gold, but when you show the picture of them on, I think it looks good.  I like dfabbric's idea of adding glitter of some kind to any distressing you do.   I hope you get a lot of tips!! Good luck!
