I made a hooded dino type bath robe for a friend's baby.  She turned 1 in February.
I had less than a yard of green fleece to work with and a lot more white fleece maybe 2 yards.

I ended up having to add a 2" strip of fabric to the seam of the sleeve (making it a 2 piece sleeve) because when I was drafting it I didn't have all the measurements I needed, and the kid "has little meat cleavers for hands and chubby arms" (her parents' words not mine)  which I don't have photos for.  I lined the body and hood of the robe with the white fleece, added belt loops and a matching belt.  the original robe was fully lined but I had to revise it because the sleeves were too tight. so in the photo there is white coming out of the bottom of the sleeves but the robe now just has a turned up green hem. (no photos)

It is cute! And it was very good you made the sleves bigger. It is a pain and a battle to get small, chubby arms through a tight-fitting sleeve.

Very cute, thanks for the dino idea. I could not imagine drafting anything for a baby, they are so chubby it would throw my measuring skills off. You did a nice job.

Mellysews.com has a free robe pdf for 18m to 8 yrs. I made it in 3 different sizes and it was pretty true to the sizes.

Babies in bath robes to cute.
