This was my first attempt at making a shrine - I found a wee bicycle at Michaels (who apparently now carry some miniatures for fairy gardening) and I thought my good deed for the day should involve giving the bicycle to a fairy so she can ride around and do all her fairy errands.

I used old music sheets as the sky,
Chess pawns as shrine feet
A dollar store box I dismantled for the shrine box itself
Some buttons, a key, and scrapbook paper

You found the perfect image to use on that bike. I'm really loving all the wonderful things you've been posting lately!

I love faeries! That reminds me of some of the wonderful pictures from the Victorian era of faeries.

I love the blues you used on the inside, it really draws you in.  I am going to have to keep an eye out for the miniatures - too cute!  What did you use on the bottom of the inside of the shrine?

If anyone is swapping with me & happens to see any of the Pickup Trucks Forever stamps on their mail - please pop them in the package for me - my hubby would love them!  Huge pre-emptive thanks

It's some sort of moss...I was going to tell you exactly what kind, but I seem to have cut the top off of it and now it's just a bag o' moss. I got it at Dollarama at one point.
