A few years ago, I made the decision to make all gifts that I gift. However, I have a blended family with 6 older brothers and I am running out of things to knit. I've done hat, scarf and glove sets twice for each brother, beer can cosies, throws for when they are gaming and last year I did a set with a looffah, wash cloth and soap set. None of them are sweater people, and I want to avoid doing the same things too often. So any suggestions? I have birthdays coming up soon.

I also have 2 younger half brothers, and I never know what to make for them. They are 10 and 12 and want 'cool' things. This christmas I made each of them a creeper blanket and pillow (minecraft), but I'm out of ideas for them.

What do you knit for guys?

Well, there's socks.... There's a few knitting books by and about guys, so you might want to look at them at a book store or library for some ideas.

Socks are epic win with guys. So are themed goodies, like a hearthstone soap sweater if they play WoW. Do they play any tabletop games? Sacks and bags colour coded for different things would be good, like red for damage counters, blue for dice, or whatever. I'm sure the Minecraft goodies were well received, so more goodies themed to their fave games can't fail!

Stuffed toys are great too, especially if they're themed. There are tons of patterns available for shows or movies they might love and you can do a different one each year. Masks or silly hats are always a hit too. Think like costume ideas. I've found great patterns for Elvis hair wigs and "lady with curlers" type hats on Ravelry that would be a lot of fun. What about cozies for tech gadgets? Lots of those too.
