Oh my. I have been active with bagmaking lately. They are all sewn by hand, because I still don't have sewing machine, and that sucks Undecided But I still like sewing Cheesy

---

This is so cute! I found this fabric and it screamed for me to buy it, and I did, and I made a bag. It is a bit bigger I actually wanted but it's okay anyways Smiley Great for partying Cheesy

---

This is my favorite now! This one is modified from two different tutorials I found from here. Another one was "rounder roomy bag" and another one was "slouchy hobo bag". I just put them together Smiley Fabric is so great!

---

This bag is made from same pattern as the one above ('cause I fell in love for the pattern). Fabric was more stiff so bag looks that it has different shape than the green one. It really doesn't, but it looks like it. I love this one too!

---

This is all for now Smiley More coming up when I get anything ready again.

---

!!!EDIT!!!

TUTORIAL for last two bags. Hope you can figure it out of this pic. If there's anything you don't understand, don't be afraid to ask Smiley

Those are wonderful bags, and all the more impressive because you sewed them BY HAND. Wow. You'll do great things with a sewing machine! I love the fabric of the second one too...but I can't help wishing that the first bag had teeth!

You are just amazing for sewing those all by hand.  When you get a sewing machine you'll be shocked at how quick it is to make a bag compared to hand stitching.  But I think the bags are that much better because they are hand stitched.  GREAT WORK!!!

The bags are gorgeous, I especially love the pattern on the third bag.

Do you have some simple step by step instructions on making a bag please.

I dont have a sewing machine yet but would love to have a go at making a simple bag..

All of your bags are FABULOUS!!

I just have a couple of questions. What is a zip-rounder?(sry if it it a dumb question, im a newbie to bag making.) Also, what are the dimensions you used on the bag. (Both body and straps)

Thank You!!!

You will probably get the idea of this tutorial by mingaling88: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=41701.0 I just made larger pieces of them. Or this tutorial by tinafish: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=35575.0

Dimensions... Hmmmmm.... Long side of body is 49cm and height without strap-stuff (on the sides) 21cm and the shoulderstrap is 59cm long. Sorry, I have no idea of inches, never got used to them. In my country centimeters are the thing Smiley

Hope this helps Smiley

Oh, I had to have patience, I didn't have sewing machine at the time, and I REALLY wanted to make bags Cheesy So I did. Now I have sewing machine, so all this bag-making should be easier, but I have made only ONE (or two? don't remember) bag after I bought the thing Shocked Really lazy of me.

First I want to say, these bags are gorgeous!  I especially love the second and third ones--the style and the fabrics!!

Second, I was shocked when I scrolled back up and realized that this post was 2 yrs old...how did I miss this one??

And last, but not least, thanks so much for the tut!  I like the slouchy bag/hobo look, but not when the bag is small, cause I need to fit my "stuff"!  Cheesy  This is perfect and I can't wait to try it out!

Wonder why this didn't make it to the tut list...it should definitely be on there!

Great work!!  Cheesy
