This is the second tote bag I have made using this tutorial from The Purl Bee.  I made this bag for my partner in the Box of Color Swap.  It does come together quickly but I wish it was lined. I suppose it wouldn't be that hard to add a lining into if you wanted though.

Cute! I really like the fabric. It would have taken me half a day to do this.  Cheesy

The worst part is cutting the fabric out.  No matter how hard I try it's always uneven!  Then I end up having to trim and trim so the bag ends up a bit smaller than it's supposed to be....

Bwhahaha, that sounds like me cutting  Grin

Oh, you could do a French seam. That way the inside looks finished without the cutting and sewing the lining  Wink
It isn't hard at all and adds a little extra to it!  Smiley

It is a fun and nice colourful bag Lindy! I like it!

Oh, believe me it is!! The name is more difficult than sewing the seam!

Here's a link to a tutorial on Morsbags. They use a French seam.

And here's a link to a Craftsters Morsbag gallery. Fun and all so different!

Try it, you'll like it!! I know  Smiley  Have fun!  Cheesy

I find the best way around this is to use my rotary cutter and mat. Best way to stay even.
