I made this dress for my sister, who is a huge fan of jersey knit and also a huge fan of dark tertiary colours like plum and mauve! I'm usually not a fan of making things for other people because I'm sure we all know people can be a-holes when you make stuff for them, but the pattern and the jersey were so perfect for her that I decided why not? The fit wasn't perfect, I think the drape drape books maybe have a LOT of ease, because I used my measurements (we're a very similar size) and you can probably see it's quite spacious on me. If you were wondering the tights are cats!

It is a cute dress - how nice of you to make it for your sister. (And yes, I was wondering...  Wink)

For jersey, that's great! The seams don't look super stretched or anything so the tension is great. My first try was... crunched... into my sewing machine too many times.

It looks great for a first try!

The trick regarding jersey is make it one size smaller due to the stretch in the fabric .
