Greetings Everyone,

Well I got a jump start on my holiday quilts.

I did sloth's feather braid block, I did change it a bit

I used three colors not four and cut the stripes 3inches by 8.5
The square was cut 5.5
and the triangles were a 9inch square cut in half

All in all I think it is the most striking quilt I have done yet.
Is my 7th completed and 9 total (I donated two twin tops locally)

The computer plan

Complete quilt just under 80in square

A look at the backing

A look at the quilting

Thanks for looking
well and wonderment

Wow - on the actual quilt, the black squares and diamonds just jump out at you - very cool.  Love it!

Like seeing how it all came together, especially since you limited the fabrics in number and variety. Gives it a much more unified appearance. May try it in blues and greens on white as my next quilt. Great job!
