What to do with broken china and wine corks? Like being able to reuse wine corks, and this is the latest favorite thing to do with them.

Even made some fruit slice pushpins from the left over grout I had.

Finished it off by painting the sides with matching green paint and then sealing the wood.

Another great idea executed greatly!  Your note to get wine cracked me up, HSG.

So when you say you made the push pins with extra grout, what do you mean exactly?  Can one put grout into a mound and get something great?  What!?

Almost, but not quite, entirely unlike tea

Thanks all!

Have some silicone molds for ice cubes in the shape of fruit slices. Put the left over grout in them and pop them out when dry. Painted them and glued them to the pushpins. Smiley

Thanks!  You may have started something with this!  I have a few different silicone ice trays AND there's ALWAYS extra grout after tiling (which I will be doing sometime this year).

What a fab mix of materials! I love that it's a cork board that doesn't look like a cork board! Very clever!  Wink
