I've been hoarding lots of acid dyes and am in the process of mixing up some stock solutions but am running into a problem. I'm trying to find a cost effective way of storing the solutions. All the containers I tried from the dollar store were leaky (food containers and squeeze condiment bottles) and the bottles from walmart the lids kept popping off with the slightest amount of pressure. Glass canning jars while readily available in tons of sizes aren't quite as easy for transporting/storing. I'll be traveling to different shops in my area to teach dyeing techniques and need storage solutions that are airtight and sturdy plastic or even some form of light metal.

I usually mix up my stocks in 1 cup amounts so I've been debating using 2 4oz travel bottles (the ones approved for airlines) for each color and just sucking it up and using plumbers tape if I need it.

Suggestions?

I know no one has replied to this in a month and I'm a noob around here, but a great solution would be the containers that acrylic paints are stored in, I wish I had an exact name, but I'm sure you could buy them from somewhere. I buy food coloring in those bottles already and I haven't had a leak or mess happen with them.
