Here's my egg-y entry...They are still Easter eggs, just a different way of spiffying them up  Grin My 6th grade teacher taught me how to do this. I make a few every year. Just a few, they are time consuming and a tiny bit tedious.  Wink

What do you need?
a hole punch
good ol' elmer's glue
plastic eggs
paper

step 1: punch out lots of little dots until you get carpal tunnel...
step 2: glue dots on the egg
step 3: glue dots on the egg
step 4: glue dots on the egg etc....

tips: I think it's easier to start on the skinny end of the egg...not sure why, about half way the dots like to lay better going that direction.  For gluing I always use a piece of scrap paper and make a puddle of glue and dip each dot in individually. Be patient...overlapping each dot and trying to keep them lined up takes time, but the end result is better.  Grin

ideas: I've always wanted to do this with sequins, but just never have. A new idea I had this year was to use one of those ginormous eggs they sell and use bigger dots. I may wait until closer to or after Easter to try to get those on sale...I'm cheap.  Wink

I did finally get a big one finished! Here's the link to it's post http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=433502.new#new

Very pretty. Such an unusual idea. Do you hard boil the eggs first or are they blown?

What a very clever idea to decorate eggs and to reuse the little punchs from your hole puncher. What a crafty 6th grade teacher you had.  Smiley

OMG! I don't know how I over looked this challenge, but I'm glad I found it before it ended. Hopping over to the store to pick up some plastic eggs in the morning.   Shocked
