Oooh, I get to post first here!

I got specially designed recipe cards from TerraBella01 - she mailed some out with a favourite recipe of her own, but also let me have the digital file so I can print out as many as I need. And because I cannot wait I jotted down my favourite salad recipe on regular paper printouts to show you!

I love it, thank you very, very much!

(I swear, the picture as is works on my desktop, you can read every single letter, I did not resize!)

Those recipe cards are cute and clever; most ready made ones are so small they are pretty much useless.

Nice recipe cards, but I do want to read the recipe!  Cheesy

Your wish is my command, beloved Organizer:

So basically you dump one cup of each of the following in a bowl:

O Tuna (2 cans)
O Canned corn (1 can)
O Red & Yellow Peppers (1/2 - 1 each)
O Apples (not sweet, leave peel on) (2)
O Onions (2 largish ones)
O Gouda (250g)

Everything should be chopped to about the size of the corn kernels. I use sliced cheese. Add white balsamico vinegar and sunflower or rapeseed oil, about one or two large tablespoons each (? - I just pour), coarsely ground black pepper and salt. Mix well.

Now comes the hardest part: Put in fridge and wait until tomorrow! Or maybe just an hour, but it tastes even better the next day.

Makes an excellent supper/dinner/lunch/breakfast... and until now this used to be a more or less secret recipe. People keep asking me for the recipe, and then just ask me to bring the salad. The name Bremer Sonnenschein means something like Sunshine of Bremen (my hometown).

Sounds delicious - Now I will do like others and say "Hey, why don't you bring it?" umm when picking airports, I'm closest to BWI. Let me know when your flight arrives and I will pick you up. Don't worry about bringing a crib, we have one.

That looks yummy, but I just can't eat tuna.  Do you think salmon or chicken would taste good in this?

I'd try chicken, for the texture. So probably shredded. It may be quite similar. I cannot imagine that salad with salmon. But you can probably just leave the tuna out without adding anything. I never thought about replacing anything in there, because it already is an (unrecognizable) adaptation of some kind of diet recipe from the Eighties or even earlier. I started making it in the Nineties.

Ave, I might take you up on that some day! (Hmmm, no direct flights, interesting prices. I might need to start working again first, and get the kids to stay with their cousins... or leave hubby at home, too, but then he probably won't take me to Canada...)

I received from sheepBlue this week. She claimed me for a shirt and supplies and sent me all this awesomeness!

A screenprinted Doctor Who shirt. Isn't this so cool?! Please post a better pic if you have one sheepBlue, I suck at taking pictures of clothing.

It also has a weeping angel on the back.

She also sent a cute Dalek pouch which was filled with lots of zippers and some safety eyes. Also, an oval hoop and some love fabric pieces for TM patches.

Thanks so much sheepBlue!

I'm so happy you like it all  Grin I feel like a goof though for not making sure I had room to fit at least one Weeping Angel on the front - at least it's there on the back!
