Averia has been so sweet and sent a replacement for her own supply package to me, and yesterday I got this lovely book about building and furnishing dollhouses with lots of tips:
(I am told this is just part one of the replacement)
So thank you a thousand times for this, I love it! And I promise to share any results, including tips on what worked and what did not. Although it might take a while until I get around to that (I have yet to put up all my hooplas and artwork...).
And then yesterday was over and I hadn't uploaded the picture and now I was just looking for the camera cord, when the mailman dropped by. And guess what? Right. The original package made it here, as well. We had been so bummed about this getting lost, not least because there was "some" Care Bears fabric in there I had been wanting so much!
So here's what I pulled out of the envelope.
It is a bit much to take in at one glance, so there are more pictures for you convenience. First we have some care bear fabric: What looks like 2 panels practically perfect for pillows, and 2 long panels for I don't know yet.
Then there is (guesstimated) a yard of pink fabric with the new Care Bears (heads actually not too large, so it is still cute), and three fat quarters of different classic prints. I can't even decide if I prefer the yellow one because it is so sunny and simple (yellow. me. that's a first.) or the blue one with the rainbows and stars (see? stars, much more my thing!), they are both so cute!
And then there is so much more! You might have noticed "ladybugs" mentioned on my wishlist, and now here they are: Ribbon, buttons, stickers and a giant fabric stamp!
Foamies, 2 big bags full, including lots of little letters that are going to be made into permanent fabric label stamps (you know, like "Lea", "Hanna", "this belongs to Anne's pajamas", whatever makes sorting the stuff easier...
And last but not least tiny little bottles and the cutest floss bobbins! (If you ever feel you want to add more to a package for me, those black and white bobbins would be good!)
Thank you so, so much, Ave, this made me so happy! And please believe me when I say that although most of the fabric will go to the kids, I'll have to make something for myself from those two fqs. Lining for a bag, a craft thing... or for my phone or something. Something I get to look at.
