What was your absolute favorite movie as a kid?  A bonus: If you have kids, what is/was their absolute favorite.

My favorites were Close Encounters of the Third Kind, Star Wars and Meatballs. My kids loved Robin Hood, Princess Bride, and Winnie the Pooh

My favorite was definitely The NeverEnding Story!

Oooh how did I forget that one!  I'm sure we all dreamed of having our own Falkor the Luckdragon

I made a trip to the HOBBY LOBBY last night and today I was on fire today with my crafting! I have discovered a problem....medium sized flat rate boxes run a little small for me...does anyone have a box stretcher I can borrow.  Grin

Just finishing 2 swaps and will have a whole week to totally spend on "MaxParadise" items and see if they all fit and then concentrate on "fillers" or if I have to many "fillers" and no room for the crafted items. Shocked

Oops! I failed to answer the last two check ins.

I have two daughters.  My oldest is 27 and is a social worker who specializes in working with mentally challenged adults.  My youngest is 25 and teaches 8th grade history.  They are amazing women and I'm so proud of them.

My favorite movie as a kid was Hush Hush Sweet Charlotte .  Most definitely not a kids movie but I was obsessed with it.

Finally done with a hectic move, although now my craft room is all packed up and a total mess! That's this weekend's project... and I still need to finish the (portable) medium I'm working on too. Smiley

Fave movie as a kid definitely a tie between Star Wars: the Empire Strikes Back, and Muppet Treasure Island. I still remember the precise moment when I was watching Empire as a 9 year old and realized I was in love - although at that time it was more love for Han Solo, but that expanded into a love of the entire Star Wars Universe. Smiley And yes, I'm suuuuuuUUUUUUUUUUUUUuuuper excited about the new cast release!!! Spent all last night reading up on the new folks...

Muppet Treasure Island was the perfect mix of muppets, pirates, and Tim Curry - also a long-time celeb crush - and it's the movie I watch if I'm feeling down and need a pick-me-up. Everything about that movie is perfect!

LOVE Tim Curry.  He is the best devil ever for one thing.  I even have one of his records Grin

On a craftyer note...I have finished another crafted item for Lunanne, and nearly done with another one.  I'm at my folks house and I haven't had too much time to be crafty, so I'm feeling great about getting that much done.  Going home next Monday and I have all kinds of things planned once I get there.  I can't decided if I should hand work the BLANK or machine it though....Grin
