Would we have to ship flat rate, or if I have a box that size and it was lighter (I tend to make lighter things) could I ship it regular post (with tracking, of course)?  Stuffies and a lot of the things I make have a low mass-to-volume ratio, so it's rarely worth it to me to use the flat-rate.

I'm considering this, making a bunch of random stuff would be fun!  I'd need to finish my monster first, though...

That's a great question. (I'm also waiting for my monster to be received so I can sign up)...
I just mailed something to a friend in Norway in the small flat rate box. It would have been $25 but because it was so light the postal clerk suggested that I put it in an envelope where it shipped for around $14. (I just put the whole box in since it was already packed).

The swap calls for the medium flat rate box - it's in the link I provided.  It may not work for everyone.  We've done the swap several different ways - using a specific box, using a specific number of items.  This time, I'm using the specific box. Smiley

so we are using the longer flater flat rate box? That one is good for art work or a bigger hoop and you can still cram alot of stuff in one of those. As for the international people or those shipping lightweight, wrap the box in brown paper. That way its done by wieght and size but still in the correct box for the swap.

Oooh, good idea, Scarlett!  Or just find another box with the same dimensions. Smiley

There are so many great swaps coming up but I think one sounds like the most fun of all.  I'll be sending my questionnaire soon.
