I've been knocked on my back by a killer cold for a few days, so needless to say I haven't started anything yet. But I was lying in bed yesterday working out some of the mechanics of what I'm making tapestrymlp, and perhaps because I was a bit feverish, it all fell into place. To my surprise, it still makes sense today.

Knowing who your partner is and what you're making for them before you even sign up kind of takes a bit of the anticipation away, doesn't it?

hhhmmm...interestin g question...I already knew what I was basically doing for both Wendiek and Ludi before I even knew the swap was coming up.  My anticipation this swap is more about packages getting there.  I don't much like waiting for partners though anyway....

And I hope you feel better soon Grin

To all past swap partners....If something I made you fell apart in some way, it would be helpful to me if you PMed me and told me about it.  Sometimes, I try new things, and if they fail, it helps me to know

It may take away anticipation, but does not remove swap anxiety!   Shocked

Well, I was going to assemble the first item. My right thumb is sore and slightly swollen. I blame massive amounts of hooking.

yikes!  I had non stop visitors over the Spring Break week and will be finishing my halfway done item in downtime at work... then plan to do so furious catch ups on my few days off in the next few weeks cuz I am scheduled on lots of overtime.  Will likely make some other projects that are portable to work as that will help when deadline approaches faster after my overtime I have scheduled.

Excited to see what everyone makes!  I am glad to be in this swap, I had never tried it before and I really like my partner, we have similar interests and I am learning a few things too!

Still working on the epic birthday quilt, but seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.  I anticipate being able to throw myself wholeheartedly into swap crafting next week!  If I'm lucky, maybe as early as Sunday!  Grin

You should schedule yourself a few days rest after that quilt Bunny1!
Ah, yesterday was a good day for me with this swap. I FINALLY got ______ in. Finally! And I was able to order the rest of what I needed and now I am waiting again, but hopefully not as long this time.  Tongue
I was also able to finish up another project! Having at least one item done makes me feel a lot better.

I'm excitedly waiting for the package Sticker sent to me! She is FAST!  Shocked

To pass the time I'm crafting away; although, I hit a snag with the 1 item I started for her. I think I can make it work but we'll see. In any case, I have quite a few ideas for what to make her and we're doing with a smallish swap this time around (3 items) so I have plenty to chose from!
