is this person weaving her own hair? Would love to hear more about the story behind card elements.  looooove the effect of the light of the moon and how it is graduated down to our space. plus the birds against that light.

Yes please, this card clearly has a story to tell, and I am dying to hear it.  Smiley

This was for my Fairytale theme. She said on the card That it is based on "the Twelve bothers" by the brothers Grimm.  Smiley

It reminds me of the fates. I can't remember how the web of life is formed or what material it is made of. Possibly from a lesser known character's hair?

    It is a weird one..

At one point, the girl's brothers turn into ravens. To save them, she has to be silent andsnot even smile for seven years. To accomplish this, she climbs a tree and starts spinning (maybe that's her go to activity for not smiling?)  Wink

Atm, we are listening to stories on CD a lot at school, and this one always puts the younger kids to sleep.. I  think it is just too surreal for them.

I'm really glad you liked the card, btw Wink

I received an ATC today from Oath Keeper. It's cute, she named it "Rootbeer Guy, Police Officer  of the Candy Kingdom", now I want some candy , but there is none in the house. Thanks! Also, nice job kosmicgirl great start for the month.

It is a strange one!  I had never even heard of it, until I searched for it on Google and read it here:

I just finished my last two cards for February's swap, and one of them is based on a Japanese fairy tale my students have been reading over the past few weeks!  Guess we are channeling some of the same teacher energy.  Wink
