These are the table toppers I made for my mum and my friend for Christmas.  They are the first quilted projects I have completed from start to finish, and were inspired by a photo of a jelly roll quilt I found while looking online.  Everything was a learning experience, from figuring out how to piece the blocks to basting, quilting and binding something for the first time.

Thank you!  The blue one is in fact getting very well used as a baby blanket by my best friend's three small children (a more practical use for them than a table topper!).  Smiley  I did a real double-take when I saw this thread again since I've just been making another one of these (slightly smaller, red and green) as part of a festive table set for my sister and her husband for Christmas.  Smiley
