My earring rack needed something much safer/sturdier/nicer looking, than a plastic grocery bag to get my earrings safely to and from places.

I am pretty happy with how it tuned out  Cheesy, since I don't have a lot of sewing experience, and it was made on the fly without a pattern.

I used two quarter yard fabric strips. I was fortunate that I didn't run out of fabric mid project. When it was finished, all that was left of the fabric was 2 little scraps just big enough to make a strap for a button closure, I haven't added one but I may at some point.

It has a layer of quilt batting as interface material, and in the handles I used denim.

I was happy to find an iron on patch in my stash that matched the fabric  Cheesy

I made it just wide enough that when removing the earring rack from the bag, none of the french hook earrings get snagged and fall off.

Some one else that makes bags for all their odd stuff. I love the quilted bag, it is so elegant and compliments your earrings! I shows how special and valuable your craft is.

PS. I make bags for every camping thing we own...our bedding, special sleeping bag bags ( to hold two bags), the reflector goddesses (reflectors turned into goddesses so we can find our tent in the dark) and so on.
