I have been inspired by all the space clothing around here and wanted to give it a try.  I bought a black scarf at the store where I volunteer and had such a great time painting it.  I loved doing this so much although i am still learning about using fabric medium so the consistency of the paint could have been a little better.  I also found it challenging to work cohesively along such a long service, so I think what I need to do is do it more often to practice.

You did a lovely job on this!  I think it's one of the nicer space clothing projects I've seen on here.  I really like the effect of that purply-red color on top of the black.

    I carry a bag that says FREE KNITTING LESSONS on my daily transit commute, & give a little hands-on tutorial to anyone who asks. They get a starter kit with needles, enough cotton yarn to make a plain dishcloth and a set of instructions. Swaps/donations for materials welcome!
