Battle/Challenge:  Battle Royal: Color
Team: Multimedia
Bonus Points: include which bonus points you think you've earned (e.g., Giver, Engineering, UFO)
Project Name: Colorful Zentangle
Project Page Link (if available): http://www.tanglepatterns.com
Brief Description: (how it fits the requirements, pattern/techniques/recipe used, any fun tips, etc.)
I drew a zentangle and colored it in. Some of the tangles are kinda nerdy too. I did the St. John's Cross tangle and colored it like the one on the Tardis. The frame is done using the Pia tangle and I colored the ovals to look like Pokeballs. I also used the Seminole Patchwork, Y-ful Power, and Canard tangles.

Project Name: Flower Pot
Project Page Link (if available):
Brief Description: (how it fits the requirements, pattern/techniques/recipe used, any fun tips, etc.)
I made this little flower out of polymer clay. I've been testing out my flower making skills and this is one of my latest flowers that I made. It's a pretty little pink rose in a real miniature flower pot that I did not make. The "dirt" is also clay.

Project Name: Gary Allan earrings
Project Page Link (if available):
Brief Description: (how it fits the requirements, pattern/techniques/recipe used, any fun tips, etc.)
My mom, sister, and I are going to a Gary Allan concert (for the 5th time!) this weekend and since Gary doesn't sell earrings, I made two pairs of earrings for my sister and me to wear to the concert. They were made from white polymer clay and then painted with black acrylic paint that I wiped back off to give it a cool effect.

sammylouise40 - I love your colorful zentangle!  I've tried some in black and white, but the color really adds something special!  Your little rose is so adorable!  And great earrings, too!  You're right, that is a neat effect with the black paint.

Krafty_Karasu - Wow!  Your Lord Canti cross stitch is amazing!  I am always blown away by your awesome designs...and incredible patience and precision!  So cool!

thank you very much.  Smiley  the only thing that bothers me about him is the jacket.  the dark green stands out too much.  but I followed the color chart and that's what it told me to use.

Sammylouise - I love that rose, it reminds me of my little bonsai, Ruby. I'm a sucker for miniatures.

Krafty_Karasu - I can't believe he is cross stiched, I thought he was painted, that's pretty cool.

So...um...anyone willing to whisper to me what the challenges for April will be? I'm heading off for work on Sunday for two weeks and will only have internet on the weekends. I'm taking my pens and paper, but need some inspiration. Smiley

I have been amassing my challenges and craft (so that I didn't spam the board ) so I should be able to update mine for march tonight. Just putting finishing touches on a project. In the mean time I am loving your work.....

Krafty_Karasu - I love your Lord Canti cross stitch my mum cross stitches but it takes her about 3 years to complete one, they take a lot of time but it looks amazing.

sammylouise40 - I have no idea what a zen tangle is but I like the patterns and colours.
