Amaranth_in_oz, thank you! The patch is even more sparkly in person (silvery metallic thread around the edges)! And, I like your interpretation of "Swallow Your Pride" and especially how you incorporated that expression about pride being a bitter pill to swallow!

vincentvanbuck, nice work! And, I never thought about how improving your shading skills in black & white could help with your work in color. I want to improve my own drawing skills, and shading is something that seems to have a big impact, but that I don't do very well. If it's possible that I can improve my color skills as well, I may have to dig out my pencils and start working on some practice sketches of my own. Thanks for sharing this!

Whoa, that looks like some hot boy-on-boy action there!   Shocked

Yes, March has been a little bit of a steamy month over in the ATC Swap gallery.  Tongue

BTW, craftADDchick, I love the TM patch!  I really hope I get ahead enough in my other commitments to let me do the TM Swap.

craftADDchick - Awesome TM patch!  I love space, Cosmos, and Carl Sagan!  Cheesy

Amaranth_in_oz - I love the way you visualized "swallow your pride!"  Still a great ATC, even if it didn't end up how you imagined!

vincentvanbuck - I think it's awesome you're working on your drawing skills!  I haven't really drawn seriously since my first semester in college...quite a very long time ago.  I do miss the nice drawing pencils, though!  Cheesy  Great ATCs!

Here's my first project for the Nerd Battles!

    Battle/Challenge: March- Clone Wars
    Team: Multimedia
Bonus Points: include which bonus points you think you've earned (e.g., Giver, Engineering, UFO)
    Project Name: Heart in Hand
Project Page Link (if available): http://www.pinterest.com/pin/482940760013575458/
Brief Description: (how it fits the requirements, pattern/techniques/recipe used, any fun tips, etc.)
For the Clone Wars prompt, I made this hand out of clay. I found the tutorial on Pinterest and thought it looked neat. Mine is a lot smaller since I have tiny hands. I also painted it with my favorite color combo of pink and black with some white.

sammylouise40, that hand is pretty cool! Will you hang it on the wall, or will it be a functional piece of art?

Ill probably use it as a bowl since that 's what its suppose to be. It just doesn't curve as much due to its size.

That hand is a really neat idea. That would be something clever to do for a whole family and put a hole in them with ribbon and hang them on the wall... Hmmm... Now... where is my bread dough recipe. Wink

Neat! It looks like it could hold keys or some small items.
