Yes, there are many - among them: I can't draw my way out of a wet paper bag.   Tongue

Well, I can see the problem... you need to wait for the bag to dry!  Grin  And, wait... how is that possible when you do all that fabulous embroidery art?  I would think you'd need some mad drawing skills to make those happen.

The embroidery seems to be a slightly different part of my brain-hand connection....more akin to sculpting than drawing... Undecided

Bonus Points: N/A
Project Name: Blue Button Hoopla
Project Page Link (if available): This was a swap project for someone who had this idea pinned. She wanted hers in blue.
Brief Description: I had seen this hoopla on Pinterest before, so I was excited to see it on someone's swap wish list. I liked the confetti stitch that was used in the original project, so wanted to include it in mine. I also tried out some different stitches, added a few beads, and wrapped my hoop in ribbon instead of having floss stitched around the edge of the hoop in a few places. I really like my version!

Actsofcraftiness, I like your hoops much better than the originals!  I especially love the ribbon wrapped hoops.  It really makes for a more "finished" appearance. I think the rainbow one  in particular is very clever!

ActsofCraftiness - those hoops are lovely! I do like your rainbow version better too. And, I love the ribbon-wrapped hoop. I may have to snag that idea. Wink And... welcome!

I have been concentrating on Swaps and fell off here for a bit.
 Ludi - Amazing sculpture!
Bunny1kenobi - Love that mask. Love the color contrast, love the whiskers, love everything about it!
Crazyda79 - Cute wreath. I need to go to the dollar store and get some supplies to make one to Spring up my house some!
Linakins - your daughter, and the horse she rode in on, are both adorable!
Badwolf314 - Pi pie! Funny. What kind was it? I think I missed that.
Actsofcraftiness - The rainbow hoopla is so colorful and spring feeling! And I love the serene effects of the blue. Both are very pretty.

Battle/Challenge:  March - Clone Wars
Team: Wordy
Bonus Points:
Project Name: Monster wallet
Project Page Link (if available):
Brief Description: I saw this on Calixita's Pinterest board and tried to make it for her in the Monster Swap. Epic fail but I sent it anyways to show I made the effort. She said she liked it. It was my first time sewing with suede and it didn't do exactly as I expected. Lesson learned. My next attempt will be better! Wink

and my botched attempt. We can't always win.  Tongue
