artsycandice, I love that Adipose! I think I have that same page bookmarked (I've been wanting to make one for a while). Now, I think you've inspired me to dig out the fabric (I think I have a bunch of white felt I can use). So cute!

vincentvanbuck - Oooooh, I want that stamp!

LovelyMiss - Good luck with the poppet!  I've always wanted to try one, but am too scared... luckily I got two awesome ones in a swap, so the pressure is off...  Cheesy

crazyda79 - Nice wreath!  And are you trying to say that Pinterest is for actually making things?!  I'm supposed to actually use those recipes I pin?  Wink

Ratfinkz - Nice bracelets!  I have some beads like that I've never used, now that I see what they look like made up, I might have to dig them out!

BadWolf314 - I LOVE that Lego blanket!!!  It reminds me I have an afghan down as my research project I haven't touched in MONTHS, though...  *sigh*

artsycandice
- (steals Adipose)  (enough said)  Also, I can't wait to see your book!  I have a project I want to do in the same vein, maybe you will inspire me to finally get off my duff and work on it!

Challenge: March Battle - Black & White
Team: Wordy
Project Name: Christmas Gift Tags
Gift tags made from cardstock and old book pages.

Challenge: March Mob
Team: Wordy
Project Name: Twitterpated
In Bambi, springtime meant that everyone became 'twitterpated' and fell in love. I made a twitterpated inspired piece using felt and some buttons and flowers. The sewn parts don't show up too well in the pictures.

It is spring time and Adipose fever has struck! Before we know it there will be a whole herd around here! Hey, there're your clone wars... Wink

Coulsenl... Those trees are really clever. I like the idea of using old text covered pages for something like that. I've always wanted to do something like that but never have. Thank you for sharing!

And everyone else... great stuff! We are certainly off to a productive start! Woo hoo for spring fever!!

Battle/Challenge:  March Clone Wars
Team: Wordy
Bonus Points: n/a
Project Name: button necklaces
Project Page Link (if available): http://www.pinterest.com/pin/56224695321608474/
Brief Description: The link to the Pinterest post that inspired this is above.  I made one of these last month, but it was so fun and easy that I just had to make more! I did make one change-- rather than poke jump rings thru the felt backing or sew them on, like they did for the example, I just made a couple of holes in the felt at the top for one button shank to poke thru on each side and attached the jump ring to the shank. Much more secure, I figure!

Whoa! I need to catch up! Last month was insane for me so I couldn't finish up the Winter Games but I entend to work on the Spring Games. We are off to such a great start!
Vincentvanbuck - very playful and fun stamp!
crazyda79 - the shamrock wreath is so festive and your burgers looked amazing!
ratfinkz - Your bracelets are very pretty. The green ones would be perfect for avoiding pinches on St. Patty's day. And I love the star clasps on the amethyst ones.
Badwolf314 - Oh my gosh! That looked like a ton of work! Turned out really cool.
artsycandice - Adipose = adorable! Love his bum!
Counlsenl - great Christmas tags. I can't seem to get my head out of Christmas either.  Tongue
bunny1kenobi - Love the button necklaces. They look so classy and vintage.

keeping up with the thread doesn't fit any of the prompts, right?
A bit of catching up, so much nice things to comment on:
LovelyMiss - poppets are wonderful, I would love to see how yours turns out.
crazyda79 - those chicken avocado burgers look yummy (my food usually doesn't turn out very photo-worthy either), I might have to try them, if I can stop myself from just eating all my avocados on toast with some cream cheese.
Ratfinks - welcome to the games! Great bracelets, I'm sure your swap partners love them (or will love them, if they haven't gotten them yet)
BadWolf314 - we used to have a Lego room when we were kids, my entire family would play there. I bet this "Lego" is a lot nicer to wandering feet than actual Lego blocks.
artsycandice - the adipose is cute, I always like seeing adipose crafts, but that picture with your daughter takes the cake!
coulsenl - great entry for black & white, what can be more fitting than the old black on white of printed text? and your springtime piece definitely looks spring-y Smiley
bunny1kenobi - cool use of buttons. I think your tweak of using the button shanks makes a lot of sense.
gozer - I like the way the monster's arms keep your place in the book. It's like he's pointing, "here, this is where you left off".

All projects tracked and logged, now to sleep and ponder my idea for a research.
