Battle/Challenge:  April- Honey you should see me in a crown
Team: Multimedia
Project Name: Purple dress
Brief Description: I got the lace for this dress on the clearance rack at joanns, so I picked up some purple broad cloth and made this dress. I like it, but it definitely looks better with the belt! I had a hard time picking things to make for the remaining prompts, but this is what I came up with (you know... purple=royalty). When I told my mom what the prompt was for this and asked her to take the picture, she ran to her room and brough tme back this crown. What a goob!

Project Name:  Dreamsicle spirit doll
Project Page Link:  http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=433647.0
Brief Description:  I made this doll for my partner in the Spirit/Intention doll swap.  More info in the link if interested.

Battle/Challenge:  May Battle - Tea
Team:  Randomizer
Bonus Points:  N/A
Project Name:  Cowl
Brief Description:  This was an extra that I sent along with the doll.  It is a cowl that I made out of some stretchy knit fabric.  It a tube that serged and stitched together.  I tend to avoid caffeine, so I chose this fabric because it reminded me of the color of Earl Gray (hot).  (Okay, maybe it's more coffee colored, but I like tea.  Cheesy )

Battle/Challenge:  May - Book Arts
Team:  Randomizer
Bonus Points:  N/A
Project Name:  Flower cards
Brief Description:  I liked The Secret Garden when I was a kid, so I made a couple of flower cards.  The thank you one was for the swap, and the other for my mom's birthday.

Battle/Challenge:  May - Going Postal
Team:  Randomizer
Bonus Points:  N/A
Project Name:  Custom handfasting cord
Brief Description:  It has been a while since I made a handfasting cord, but this is a custom one for an upcoming wedding that my friend is officiating.  It is about 6.5' and made with four colors of satin/rat-tail cord.  It took about six or seven hours because the cord was so thin!  I think the finished item will have some beading or charms, but I was just responsible for braiding it.

Battle/Challenge: March UFO sighting
TeamFandom
Bonus Points: 10 for yellow
Project Name: chain bracelet
Brief Description:
A while ago I borrowed bits of my brother's chainmail stash and equipment. I noticed that my seed beads fit in the jump rings, so I played around a bit and made myself a simple bracelet. I decided to post it for the yellow UFO sighting, because the yellow beads were giving me the most trouble when trying to get them onto the rings (seems their holes are a tiny bit smaller than the other colors). They are probably why I put it aside for a while and only now finished it.

calliemae, did you knit that Great White Hope? What a cool pattern! And, the pattern on the mittens from the variegated colors is also neat. The baby cardigan is fabulous, too! Cute felt banana! I've never made any felt food before because it looks so fussy to make, but there are so many neat ways to make them.

crazyda79, what a fun coffee mug! Is that Sharpie? And, I love maps and state silhouettes (oddly enough), so I really like your New York piece. And, the endo bag is nice (and sparkly!), too!

pishaw13, cute dress, and the added touch of the crown is just perfect!

LovelyMiss, what an adorable Spirit Doll and I especially like her hair and rainbow arms Smiley I like the color of the cowl, too, and the fabric looks very soft. I love the cards you made, and the handfasting cord is just gorgeous (even without beads and charms).

Ludi, another cute cone-shaped doll! I love the addition of the beard on this one.

Tanath, I really like that bracelet (reminds me of one of my favorite necklaces even though they are very different in style). The pops of color against the darker rings look really cool.

Bonus Points: N/A
Project Name: Journal Page
Brief Description: In a complete contrast to my much sunnier journal page, this one features a book page containing a poem about death 'why fear death' with other quotes from poems all around it.

pishaw13 - You are so cute in your dress and crown!  Great interpretation of the prompt!  Grin

Ludi - Your little felt people are so fun!  I love his beard!  I can't believe how much embroidery detail you can get into such a tiny space.

Tanath - That's such a great bracelet!  I love the pop of color from the beads.

calliemae - Your journal pages are pretty!
