Congrats to Artsycandice! That's so exciting! And thanks, I think I'm a blast too! Haha!

I am loving that bauble necklace bunny1kenobi! I would wear the crap out of that.

Also, I just want to say how great it has been to find this group! I am having so much fun being part of this craftalong. I have finished so many projects that I didn't "feel like" working on, and I have been so much more productive with my free time than I was before I was a part of the craftster community. It is awesome to be crafting along with such talented individuals, and I love seeing all you folks' projects and skills. It is so inspirational for me! So thanks for letting me play with you! Haha!  Grin

Research Project Proposal

Research Project Name:  Cross stitch people
Team:  Randomizer
Brief Description:  I want to make personalized cross stitch people for my family members.  They will likely be Christmas presents, but I want to get started early because I always have way too much on my plate during the holidays and never get all of my crafting done on time.  I will spend the first week designing the patterns, and the next weeks stitching them...there will be at least seven people, but maybe more if decided to do extended family.  It will depend on how long each one takes.

There has been a lot of beautiful craftiness around, really great work!

What a lovely poppet!

And I have a little boy who would be ALL OVER that book arts project, and I'm digging the box!

The Nerd Games are awesome. Period.

Battle/Challenge:  May - Book Arts
Team: Multimedia
Project Name: Trout in Cohoes
Brief Description: This hoopla is inspired by one of my favourite authors, Kurt Vonnegut, and his sketch entitled "Trout in Cohoes." Kilgore Trout is a character Vonnegut often used and Cohoes was the location of Trout's apartment. I thought this design was rad and I love the idea of having art inspired by my favourite author around.

Battle/Challenge:  May - Right in the Feels
Team: Multimedia
Project Name: A different kind of feel Wink
Brief Description: These aprons are more of the same design that I have been posting. Since I am not particularly interested in having any of the feels, I figured I would make something that evokes a "different kind of feel." Haha! Cause if you aren't into sexy presidents and patriots, then you aren't American! BOOM!

Things are a little hectic right now but I should be able to comment on all the amazing posts tomorrow.

Battle/Challenge:  April - Now your cookin'
Team: wordy
Bonus Points: ---
Project Name: meat loaf casserole
Project Page Link (if available):
Brief Description:  I don't cook. if I have to cook dinner it is very basic food and always on a George Forman grill. It got boring. Chicken or pork chops with a side of instant mashed potatoes and corn/green beans depending on the day. Every day. I decided that I want to start making more casserole type dinners. Tonight was my first attempt. Got this recipe from the Campbell's soup site. It was actually really yummy. There was the meat and stuff at the bottom and that is a mashed potato concoction on top.  Tongue  Had to keep the mashed potatoes or my family would not have believed I made it.
