I don't post much but I'm very proud of these little guys.  My daughter is turning 10 this weekend and obsessed with Harry Potter right now.  I've made these mini dolls as a birthday gift.  They're all hand sewn with felt and thread.

They are all 3.5" tall except for Hagrid.

Thanks for looking!

Wow, too cute, you must've spent a lot of time on this. May I ask what you used to stuff them with? After seeing your lovely handiwork, I want to run out and buy lots of felt. Congratulations on your daughter's 10th birthday. She's got a nice mom.

I have a home daycare so I sewed them during the day while the kids had free play. It took about two weeks.  Only the head is stuffed.  The bodies are 4 layers of felt with the clothes and body.  I started with a paper doll cutout shape in the flesh tone and sewed everything to it.  The head is barely stuffed.  It probably has a quarter sized amount of loose stuffing in it.  My first Harry was stuffed and he looked weird when he was all done so I made a new one and skipped the stuffing for the rest.

Thanks to everyone for the comments!  She loved them and has been carrying them everywhere with her.  I've had requests from friends and teachers for sets but I think I'll save my energy to start a LOTR set for one of my teens.  <3 that book characters are such a part of my kid's lives.
