I saw this online somewhere and bought myself a Mixed Media Mini Me doll template from Ten Seconds Studio,
http://store.tensecondsstudio.com/mimemimedo.html

It's wood but I've been using it as a template.

I was cutting up boxes at work to make canvases for the preschoolers and I saved some clean bits for me.

Here is the first one I finished - it was covered in book pages - a French book about the Second World War - I printed over it, with the Gelli plate, but it didn't take so well. I then added to words and flowers to make her pretty.

I added a peace symbol, and yes, Alanis Morrisette songs were floating through my head as I made it.....

Here is the second one I made with last year's Kandinsky calendar:

This one is on card stock, not corrugated cardboard, so I used brads instead of buttons and wire for the limbs.
And another arty sentiment:

Two more that need finishing and embellishing:

These are both on corrugated. The purple one is covered in Nancy Drew book pages and the green/blue one is covered with some Gelli print papers.

And one more, she is made on card stock, covered with various Gelli prints and I glued her arms above her head.

Thanks for looking!

Those are really cool!  Hey, I was going to say that we should have a swap based on this.  It would be so neat to see us Craftsters made into dolls!
