Hi everybody! I miss you guys!

We pulled out of our financial tailspin at last, but we are still recovering from the really bad year-and-a-half we just had. I'm still not ready to swap again, but I'll drop in to say hi more often.

I've just started twining rag rugs, and it's addictive. I want to twine ALL THE THINGS! I made a smallish rug loom out of junk, and I plan to make a few more sizes. The rugs are super thick and heavy, and perfect for an old house. I will be working my way through my current craft obsession, and then I'll go back to making things that are more mail-able. Cheesy

I hear ya! I debated if I should join this swap or not myself because although super fun, it costs money to ship and buy supplies! I probably shouldn't have, but I figured as long as I don't take any orders requiring me to go to the fabric stores and make sure to only trade for things I will use to make things for my etsy shop and try to make money back.....oh who am I kidding....I have a craft addiction and I couldn't resist! But I am trying to stay frugal this round so my wallet doesn't regret it too much. Although this might be my last swap for a while so I can start being responsible with my monies, just had to squeeeeeze one more in Smiley

I've realised my prices are too high, so I've lowered them. I'm also planning to add more fabric, but I'll have to take pictures first.

LaughingLark so good to see all is well with you!  Let us know if you post any of your creations Smiley

We have a pretty small group of swappers this time around so it will likely be slower than the Winter Market.  Which is fine Smiley

I can tell I spend too much time on Facebook, because I keep wanting to "like" your posts.  Cheesy

I will start a thread in a few days about the rug projects. Right now, I'm cutting up a bunch of old clothes for twining.

Glad things are looking up, and that you are still crafting.

I updated my sale to pick any 1/4 point item free with any 1 point purchase!

I also added some more 1/4 point items, both supply and crafted Smiley

HI LL,
do hang out and chit chat, even if you don't swap Wink

I have about a million things swirling around in my head. I have SO many ideas!
I want to start selling wool dryer balls, baby clothes and wool diaper soakers in my etsy shop, but my shop as it stands has paintings and graphic design stuff. Should I make a SECOND shop to keep them more thematic or do you like to see an eclectic shop?

ALSO: I need a quick and easy to to silkscreen my logo on some apparel tags. does anyone have a yudu machine that could throw together a little screen for me?

ALSO ALSO: this is my first draft of my logo. What do you think?

Cute design LxM.  Wish I could help.  I have a yudu, but unfortunately they aren't making screens anymore so you have to get them from other suppliers.  The ones I have are $30/each and weigh a ton, so it would cost a bunch to make/ship.  Maybe it would be easier to ask someone to screen fabric for you and send that to you for your labels...or easier yet maybe you should get a stamp made and use that.
