You can use the puzzle pieces from the missing piece puzzle as objects in other art collages or assemblies. It's always good to have bits and pieces to add.

Hi, Guys--
Just a note that I'm heading out of the snow for a few days and so I may not be super prompt about updating sending/receiving.  But I'll be back Wednesday, and will get caught up then.

In the meantime, make sure you've sent out your blanks and let me know by tomorrow (Don't make me miss beach time to track you down!!   Cheesy  ).

Happy Crafting.

I'm soo excited to break out my scrapbook box/ scrap journaling box and decorate! I had to come up with a plan to make sure I have all my pieces. So I created a chart-

Hope this chart helps me, I am a neat freak and I like to organized in some ways!

I did the same thing, made a map of my pieces...it was fun drawing around them all. Then indicated who they go to. I figure I can use the map as ephemera in another project or in a journal. I may even use it as a drop cloth to add texture...I'm always looking for interesting backgrounds and texture. It helps to reassemble the puzzle as well.

I painted the wooden frame of mine and the inside base a dark navy with a bit of a metallic sheen to it. Looks cool with the peices and right now, pieces that are getting ready to fly off. I plan on mounting the final pieces at different levels as they don't fit together well anymore. 3D puzzles!

Someone last round had larger pieces - I think 3"-4' - and I enjoyed those.  I could be more creative and didn't have to work to cram things on.

I like the idea of a window too.  I probably would put a black piece of sheet stock behind when I put the puzzle together & frame it that way just to make a statement lol.

A missing side piece is where you take ribbon and make a flap with your signature on it  Grin And the name and date of the swap. Let it hang over the frame? Like a flag, or tag? Maybe some ideas for you to use the goofy puzzle in the next round?

Just because puzzles come in a box, we can think outside it? I am the Queen of Duct tape...Make It Work Girl  Kiss

Mine sent today. Ms. Beachy Puzzle Girl  Wink Don't forget the sunscreen! I am gearing up for this one. I know it is going to move quick. I am somewhat behind on a few other things...and trying frantically to stay caught in the middle. So far I am treading water...so think of me at the beach. I will be the one bobbing out in the middle.

No, I am not waving....I need help!  Grin Grin Grin Just kidding. I will be OK.

Oh, and I never thought to make an actual "map", either. Mine I just traced all separate and numbered. So I can still figure it out. But it would have been easier with the map style. Golden Sunshine surely has the GOLD in my book! I will have to remember this for the next one.

And yes, I am thinking bigger pieces will be easier, too. A bit more stuff to use up for materials, but more area to put them. Even though I love working miniature style...there just isn't much room on some of my pieces. Do your best.  Cheesy I'll understand.

It's weird, but after trading ATCs for a year, I am astonished how many simple envelopes go missing. Someone out there has a serious hoard of bluepaisan's cards for sure, lol. ATC snatchers! Little art thieves. Some day those stolen ones will be on Antiques Roadshow, and will be worth thousands.
