I forgot to mention, some people who requested two groups got that, and some didn't, based on numbers.

However, feel free to personal swap amongst yourself if you're hoping for more pieces.  Normally, I personally swap with just about everybody I'm not in a group with because I'm puzzle-happy.  I've gotten in a habit of overcommitting myself to swapping, so I haven't reached out to anyone yet, but if someone were to PM me, my arm could easily be twisted...

So I went to put my puzzle together and...  a piece was missing! Bah, I'll have to get me another one in the next couple days. No worries, I just thought it was funny and just my luck.

My puzzle has a piece missing also - I bought it at a thrift store. But I'm just going to leave it blank, or put a piece of paper behind it or something. It doesn't worry me....you don't have to spend money on another puzzle.  Grin Grin Grin

I agree with the missing piece thing. That could work out to be like a "window" of art behind things. And if you have extra pieces not sent out...leave an additional one out and make it look planned with another missing window spot. Maybe glue the extra left out piece on the frame like a "flower"?

Or just trace the outline, and cut another cardboard piece to fit in there.

I have one more card to write, and mine will all be packaged to send. Without my having a working printer, this swap is going to be a real challenge {I am in two groups....20}  Grin And all handwritten cards...Yeah...Journaling practice forced!!! I have needed that.

And members have come up with some interesting themes that I have no clue on....Mexican Bingo? Once Upon a Time? LMAO. And those other ones that I can't pronounce or spell??? It is OK. I am taking good notes. I will be studying.

And so funny with our friend here who has opposite girls. One all frilly, and one very outdoorsy. That will be fun to plan for. I am already pulling out a mess in anticipation. Mine will go out in time. Tommorrow or Friday, as planned.
I have three internationals...so I will just take all post office way. That way I know they hand stamp and make it to the target.  Roll Eyes If you can ever really know with our postal systems.

I just opened the puzzle that I bought at the store and the pieces are pretty large, about 3 x 3. Would these be ok to send, or should I get smaller pieces. Thanks

There's no size requirement/restriction.  KriSmith (hey, where is KriSmith this round??) once had huge pieces, like, maybe 10 inches long or so, which I thought was really fun.

Larger pieces are fine with me, too. Mine are relatively small. I have been wondering how members will get something on them  Grin I tried to send an edge piece and center with each package. I am ready to roll when I go postal!

Another idea...my brain pops with those...to keep mine organized {keep in mind I am the lucky few who signed in two swaps = 10 partners and crazy themes  Roll Eyes

Tonight I am making out the return envelopes. And as I pull out supplies for each theme, I will put them in the proper envelope...so they are at the ready when the pieces arrive. And properly labeled for each swapper. I figure that is an easy way to do it...so I don't get mixed up. And can keep all the goodies together as I work on them.
So if your theme is listed on the flap of the envie...that is just my filing system  Cheesy

I agree it would be cool to make it a 'window' or something, but it is on the right edge Sad  It's no worries, a new puzzle at big lots is only $2 and I wasn't really happy with the size/shape of that one anyways. This gives me a chance (excuse) to find another one.  None of the pieces were altered or edited anyways.
