Just finishing up one last set and wasn't able to make it to the PO today. So I will send the last 3 sets on Monday also. And, eeeep! I forgot to photograph GoldenSunshine's and vvb's sets - sorry. I was so happy to be able to send that I skipped the photo session.

Loving the pieces in the gallery - so many fun ideas and techniques.

Hi All,

I just wanted to confirm that for this round, even when returning finished pieces, we do NOT have to get a confirmation number, correct?  Of course I want everyone's pieces to be safely accounted for, but with 10 partners, I also want to make sure I can afford the postal bill.  Wink  (I am sending in bubble mailers for protection.)

5 out of 10 partners done.  I am getting them packed up now, so I can happily pile them up on the counter to mail tomorrow and get them off my craft table.  Besides going to church, my only agenda item for today is crafting for this swap -- so hopefully 12 hours from now, there will be another check-in with an "all finished" status.   Smiley

I am enjoying the gallery, too. And I keep taking out my received pieces and touching them  Grin Maybe fondle is a better word  Roll Eyes

Mr. Buck. La Sirena is just about finished. Final trim and lettering. It took me a while to find the right rock for her to perch on. Gotta love National Geographic! I love to do collage...and without a printer hooked up right now {brand new in the box since Christmas  Embarrassed...but computer issues at the moment}...I just had to make it up! I think you will like her.

Not to deter anyone {for other newbies like me}, but these little boogers take longer than I expected. Part of that reason is my supplies are stored all over the house. And the fact that I have been re-organizing things as I go.
We shall call that "House Clean Puzzle Time". Shocked But it sure has been a fun process. I've gotten to play with things that I forgot I had. And now am able put them somewhere that I remember.

I stopped for supper, but I will continue puzzling into the night to finish my last few. Double swap newbie...what was I thinking?Huh Tee hee. I love a challenge. Oh, and panic attack. I thought I lost sushipanda puzzle piece. But then I remembered, I stored it under the "to do" box to flatten the glue  Roll Eyes Silly me.

If you are scared...say you are scared. I hate my lettering skills. And she is so pretty...I hate to mess this one up. I have been practicing with different ideas for how to orient the letters. *sigh*. And did you know you can cut bingo chips with kitchen scissors? And use your nail file to smooth the edges  Grin? Just thought that one up. My typical, "now how I am I going to do this and make it work." kind of thing. Just a break from things. Sometimes it is good to walk away from your art. Sorry. Silly share. Happy puzzling for those of us last minute people  Grin

It took me years...many, many, many, many years. But I have most my craft supplies in one room and mostly organized. I've learned to PUT THINGS AWAY after each project is done. The problem is, I'm usually working on several stages of multiple projects at one time. How can one person pull out so many different items in an hour or two. Mystifies me!

Take a look at my craft room...it is a joy to have. It only took about 40 years of my adult life to finally give it to myself.

You never cease to amaze me cm3. And don't worry. I did not forget the inchie thing...I still have not found your original package...but it is here in all the paper mess. And I think it is better that I do not find it, yet. I have your newest outline patterns. Then I can make up my/your own. And not feel like I copy.

I like your art room. And I know what you mean about having it organized...and then Zinggggg. All havoc breaks loose. This go-around I have been trying to put back EXTRA!  Grin

I have had a wonderful day in all the paper mess. And washing the glue off my fingers.  Roll Eyes Still a few pieces to go, but I think I will make it on time.

And you paint standing up?? Even at the easel I sit on a stool. Countertop...stool. Office...comfy twisty chair. Sewing machine...another rolly chair. I guess I am just a lazy craftster  Cheesy Still on task. Just taking a breather.
Time for some music to jazz me again.

Here we go. Muppets, Jim Henson: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pV4F46N21PA Giggling, and no offense to our Canadian members. I just found this one to be an uplifting tickle.  Cheesy

For some reason, I had it in my head that sendouts were the 15th.  I have three sets done but I don't think I'll get to the post office tonight, with drying time and all.. So I may be a few days late.

Right, DC is not required.  Just very properly and safely packaged pieces.

I will also be sending late, so no sweat about being a couple days late.  If you're planning on pieces being out by Friday, great.  If you plan on being any later, please shoot me a PM.  Thanks.
