Remember my Turqouise and Taupe Top?
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=430922.0#axzz2u5kheYxk
I made another one just like that, but in a different colour scheme.
It is my new favorite all-year-round shirt!

(Again we had a really hard time taking good pictures. It looks better in real life.)
I'd love to know what you think of it!

PS (March 23): I finished two more of these shirts simultaneously today!
One is exactly the same as this one and the other one is almost the same, but has a round neckline instead of the keyhole neckline (I basically just closed that hole). No pictures yet.

I like it even more than the first one! And I LOVE this keyhole opening!

I love the key hole neckline edge. I must have missed your last one, but very well done with this. It looks like it fits flat and is stitched well. A bit boring on the colors, and I am sure the other one is more festive, but this will go with more things, so that is not a bad thing. I just happen to like brighter colors and more funsies.  Grin Sorry. But it looks very pretty. And can always be topped off with pretty jewelry and such...as a nice background to additional bling and colors. Without overdoing the look.  Grin Great job. I really like it.

I carry a bag that says FREE KNITTING LESSONS on my daily transit commute, & give a little hands-on tutorial to anyone who asks. They get a starter kit with needles, enough cotton yarn to make a plain dishcloth and a set of instructions. Swaps/donations for materials welcome!

Thanks, HSG, stillatthetop and RovingAnarchist!

Stillatthetop, you can follow the link to that previous top.
And last summer I made myself a bright red top and a turquoise one also, so yes, I love bright colours too. But the black and taupe combination looks good on my pale skin and with my reddish blonde hair.
Here's that bright red one (my favorite summer top):

I love the design!  Very flattering!  I think the keyhole neckline is my favorite part...it adds a lot of interest to the front...

Now I am going to have to go look at your other creations!

I love the color combo, and the stitching around that neckline is immaculate! If I owned this shirt, I'd wear it all the time.  Smiley

Thank you, sweets4ever, alwaysinmyroom and rackycoo!

I wear it all the time. As soon as it's in the laundry I push Marc to wash and iron it, so I can wear it again, LOL. I even decided I am going to make another one exactly like this. You can never have too many of your favorite shirt, right?

Such a good idea, BeaG. If it is comfortable and pretty you should have a few of the style.  Smiley
