I made these two little guys with a bunch of stuff from Alpha Stamps.
Their wings aren't big enough for them to fly yet, but they have their bird pals to help them get around.
And get into mischief!

I used 4x4 artist board as the base and ric rac around the outside edges to cover the rawness of the board.
Working from the back, configured the bigger gears and glued them onto the back of the bird, then working from the front, I added smaller gears and watch parts to
fill any gaps and add detail.
I cut out the images, added a little color, crowns and wings and glued them on the birds.
I used double sided foam tape in two layers on the backs of the birds to stick the birds onto the board. I positioned them being mindful that I wanted to add title plaques to the bottom.
The last details were some crystals and a little bit of white acrylic paint dots in places that I thought looked nice!

I love their eyes, and I especially like the hairdo on the second bird!

These are so great! I love the cogs/gears.  The strange bird looks like he is looking back at his rider!

Looking for a vintage magazine (1974 - 1978) that has a fabric nativity set w/ people and animals. An example: http://www.craftster.org/pictures/showphoto.php?photo=440861&ppuser=143144.

I like Kit-Kat, unless I'm with 4 or more people.
